Experiences at the boardwalks of the Jersey Shore are a must for all shore visitors! There are an abundance of boardwalks next to major Jersey Shore beaches up and down the state that feature food, drinks, games, rides, music, shopping, and more!

Each boardwalk is unique and offers different things to do catering to children & adults. In fact there are a total of 18 different boardwalks in New Jersey!

Here are the ones we love the most...

Ocean City: Voted the #1 family-town for NJ shore locations year-in-and-year-out, the Ocean City boardwalk is the perfect location for families with young children. Gillian's Wonderland Pier, Playland's Castaway Cove and OC Waterpark are all terrific choices for a day of fun! After some thrills, head over to Manco & Manco Pizza or Kohrs Brothers for some good ol' fashioned Jersey Shore eats! Families looking to avoid the noise and debauchery of other Jersey Shore Boardwalks can take solace in this quieter, dry town.

Atlantic City: First built in 1870, the Atlantic City Boardwalk is the heart & soul of NJ's most famous Jersey Shore location. Resorts, casinos, and shopping highlight this legendary scene, but there's more to it than gambling and spending money...There's the Garden Pier Arts & Cultural Center, world class dining options, and so much more to explore across 5.5 miles of the most historical boardwalk in the world.

Seaside Heights: This Iconic boardwalk is most-known for it's entertainment and attractions that line the Seaside Heights Promenade and for being the original home of MTV's hit show "Jersey Shore." If fun is your goal, this is the place to be. From roller coasters & arcades to clubs & bars, Seaside something for everyone. Be sure to try a slice of The Sawmill Pizza or some Berkeleys sal water taffy while you're there.

Point Pleasant: The sheer crowd sizes on a July afternoon at Jenkinson's Boardwalk are enough to tell you that this is a popular spot for Jersey Shore goers. This boardwalk is packed with games, rides, & treats! We recommend Jenkinson's Aquarium, which is a great switch up from traditional shore activites. At night, hit Jenk's Club for drinks and dancing.
